I'm Christabel Franklin, a qualified Hair and Makeup artist, with over 9 years experience. I’m based in Norfolk (England) but available to work all over the UK.

My previous clients have included Marvel Studios, Very.co.uk, Soho House, London Olympics, Sky Atlantic, EQ Films, Gower Avenue Films/Marv Films, Manifesto Digital, Spectrecom Films, Run Studios and Cherry Creative.

My work has included commercials for Canon, Bacardi, Coral and Party Poker, as well promotions for NHS Blood Donor Campaign (assisting Carolyn Roper), GetMadeUp.com, British American Tobacco, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Soho House, ResMed, Four Eyez and Ravensbourne University. My hair and makeup work has also been seen in OK Magazine.

I graduated in 2011 with a Higher National Diploma in Specialist Makeup at West Thames College, receiving a Distinction for my final grade, and was awarded the first year honour for Outstanding Achievement.

In 2013 I was Head Makeup Artist for Kingston Universities 3rd Year Final Fashion Show and I also assisted Debbie Korrie, during London Fashion Week 2013, for fashion designer Nina Naustdal.

I'm also part of the film-making collective "Bloody Cuts", and have completed 15 short films with them to worldwide acclaim, including Webby Award winning short The Birch. As a result I've worked closely with leading special effects house Millennium FX, and leading SFX makeup expert Neill Gorton. In 2013 I was part of a team creating an authentic animatronic Orangutan for use on film.
